Built in 1905 by developer Abbot Kinney, only a small portion of the original Venice Beach Canals exist to this day. A popular tourist attraction and a hot spot for locals, the three canal-lined blocks include arching pedestrian bridges and charming multi-million dollar homes.

During the 1940s the canals fell into disrepair and remained in poor condition for more than 40 years until the 1990s when they were finally drained and rebuilt. Today, the perfectly manicured landscaping and canals are now the staple of the community and a must-see destination for travelers to SoCal.
